“The first issue of Quadrante 2022 marks 30 years of publication of the journal. This is an important historical moment in the life of the journal that will be the subject of a special issue to be published later this year, taking stock of the significant body of research in mathematics education, mainly in Portuguese, but also with a significant presence of researchers who communicate their work in other languages. This will certainly be an important moment of balance of what has been the trajectory of the journal and an opportunity to perspective its future”. (p. 1)
